I think there is something wrong with my anemone!

My tank has been up and running for a couple days now and the anemone is starting to look weird.

I followed the directions on the bottle of Mortons Pink Himilayan salt...but I'm not 100% sure that I added enough to the water. Is there a way to test that?

Also, should I move it on to a rock so it can get more light? Or maybe put it in a floating basket thing and poke it with a stick once an hour to make sure it's still alive?

Maybe it's hungry? I've already tried feeding it reef roids, krill, table shrimp, mysis, a piece of raw steak, some flake food, a chunk of squid, a tootsie pop and an almond snickers bar but it doesn't seem to want to eat anything. I also don't think it liked the sip of Mountain Dew I gave it this morning.

Someone please tell me what is going on?

Whew! It looks so much better today. Must've just been pooping or something. I gave it a little bit of Dr. Pepper for a treat and it looks like it perked back up!

Yes. Do you think if I gave it Skittles it would help make it color up so it'll look more like a Rainbow BTA?

Warning and PSA!!! Do Not give them fruit stripe gum, as this will cause them to become Torches instead of bubble tip anemones.

I usually gorilla glue them in place. Caulking or soldering works great too.

I just can't comprehend why people don't take the time to do their research before getting an anemone. We have the internet at our fingertips 24/7 with ample knowledge readily available to those who are seeking it.

Seriously people...just add 3 packets of Tropical Punch flavored Kool-Aid to your tank on a weekly basis and it will resolve all of your anemone problems!
