Ice Cap gyre set up?

Nope! I have reset a couple times. I am over 8 hours into trying to get these going. I tried a couple times to update the software and while it says it updated, I get a pop up telling me that I am still running old software.
I have reconfigured my iphone a couple times 'cause their software is buggy, and I have entered my wifi into them probably 50 times. The 2 controllers are both displaying different different status LEDs, I got emails again last night telling me that they have been offline too long and when I try to adjust a speed setting the controller wont upload it just tells me the controller isnt responding. So frustrating!!!!! This was supposed to be a fun upgrade. I spent what I consider a lot of money on pumps, and to be honest they have been an exhausting headache.

that sux, i had a different issues last Sunday when the power went out. The controller was acting up as if i had reset it and i lost my configs.I did send an email to coralvue that night and recieved an email reply about 2 hours later. Pretty good since i wasnt expecting a reply until the next morning since it was about 8 pm when i contacted them.

Yea it does, I contacted @MarineDepot to get a label to send them back 'cause they are not working and they wouldnt do it. Last time I shop with them!! Now I am stuck.
 
Having the WaveEngine has been great! You could run all 4 pumps for the WaveEngine and not need the controllers or the power bricks. I would highly recommend it!! Also comes in handy if you lose WiFi connection you can still switch over to bluetooth on the WaveEngine an control all the pumps.


I believe what he has (dual Controller) is basically a stripped down WaveEngine so it might have the same capabilities.
I do not know for sure how much it has because I do not own one but I think they may work the same.
 
If it is like the WE when you update the firmware you need to restart the program or it will say you have not updated.

Your not stuck. Contact Coralvue they might be able to help you. Makes no sense not to contact support in the first place. You may have missed something simple in setting it up and if they are truly bad I would bet they would replace what ever part is bad.

I did contact support and have been emailing with Carlos (I have also wasted a full day and watched way too many YouTube videos) And yes I am still stuck. I have 0 control of 2 of the pumps and my corals are being blasted.

Where did you end up? I'm doing the same, just installing the two 4ks with the basic controller. The app keeps trying to update from 150 to 160, but then tells me to do it again, despite logging out of the app, etc. The status lights are a rainbow...And I can't find a legend to decoding. Fun times so far.

I find myself still fighting with the controllers. And I got an email saying they are closing out my ticket even though they have done nothing and nothing was resolved.

At this point, none of them are.....it *seems* to be running normally (whatever that is). The app still asks me to update from 150 to 160 despite saying it completed it successfully. I just sent in the form on their website, since that appears to be the only way to contact them?
 
Did you ever get it resolved? I've had nothing but problems with them.

I've just purchased the 2k with dual controller and I have had nothing but problems gettin it to work. Spent 6+ hours trying to get my issues resolved as well. 2k pump stalls in 2k mode and 3k pump wont operate in 3k mode... everything almost work on 4k mode.
Seems I cant turn pumps below 25% and and stalls or gets stuck in reverse when enabled. Any advice?
 
My IceCap controllers and 1 gyre have given me nothing but headache.
Lets see:
November 30th - manually reconnected both controllers to the cloud
December 3rd (9:18am) - controller #1 self disconnected from the cloud
December 3rd (8:34pm) - controller#2 self disconnected from the cloud
December 5th - manually reconnected both controllers to the cloud
December 9th (12:39pm) controller #1 self disconnected from the cloud
December 9th (3:04pm) controller #2 self disconnected from the cloud
December 9th (3:45pm) manually reconnected both controllers to the cloud
December 13th (8:44am) controller #1 self disconnected from the cloud
December 13th (3:44pm) controller #2 self disconnected from the cloud
December 13th (9:11pm) manually reconnected both controllers to the cloud
On top of this nightmare, I have had a gyre seize up twice for no apparent reason. One would think that a gyre seizing up would send a notification to my phone.... but no.
