Ich found

Woke up this morning and 1 clown dead and other still alive but with major white spots. Got a cup of water. Spell check won't let me spell r o d I. And caught fish. Did a water dip for 3 to 5 minutes. Making new water now. Not enough for 2 tanks. Put fish in breeder box. And will qt it later.

Not sure if ich or velvet. Don't have ich meds have to get some when lfs opens. But fresh water dip appears to help in the mean time. Going to fish out other 2 fish qt and just leave inverts and frags in tank in mean time 6 to 8 weeks.

If you woke up to a dead fish and another covered, it's likely Velvet. Could also be Brook since they are clowns. Can you post pics?

it had labor breathing now. May lose it lfs not open for another 45 minutes.

I’m not a disease expert but I would say velvet. Did his slime coat look like it was sloughing off? I’m really sorry. I lost about 12 fish to velvet a few months back. It really sucks.

You will need a QT. Move all fish to QT and dose metroplex. Or Formalin baths for fish between DT and sterile QT. Allow DT to be fallow for 6 weeks.

I already did the fresh water dip this morning. the clown is still alive but laying on the breeder box and breathing heavy. waiting for the LFS to open up and going to get some kordan ich attack. since it has formalin in it.

by fallow. do you mean empty the tank of all the water also. or just move my fish? also do I need to move my frags also and mini carpet annema

Just remove the fish only. Everything else can stay

I also forgot I have a shrimp in the st too. Keep in or remove it

All inverts coral are good to be in the tank for fallow.

Just the fish cannot be present.

This could still be velvet. If it is the treatment will differ. The single pic you uploaded is much more clear, but I can't see evidence of anything in it.

Lost 2 clown fish. gotta figure out how to get the wrasse and longnose hawk fish out of the tank. gonna get a a gator aid bottle from the gas station for the wrasse and see if he'll go in that. regular water bottles aren't big enogh with the hole.

That’ll be tough. They won’t want anything to do with it.

You’ll need to drain the tank and remove rock and coral and then build back up. That’s what I’ve always done. It’s a great opportunity to re-aquascape!
