Ich help

So I just discovered my two clowns orange and peel have ich. What can I do? I have an empty tank to start with. What's next?

It's not bad yet, just a few spots. But definitely ich.

Humblefish is god when it comes to this, hes helped me with a wrasse and tang with serious issues that are in recovery both in 1 week, hopefully hell chime in. You gotta try to id if its ich or velvet

What's velvet and how can I tell?

Ur going to need alot of extra saltw on hand, how bigs the qt, honestly ive had awesome sucess with tank transfer method with ich, velvet not so much

Velvet looks like ich but if you were to wakeup tomorro and both are completely covered its mostly velvet, it also could be brook

He's had it for 3 days, the other fish are fine. White spots

I stuck him in my 3 gallon for now but you can see it on his head

Well thats a relief , usually by the time you see velvet or brook its usually over by then but then again my wrasse got brook witch is mostly a clownfish disease nd is in recovery after a formaldahide bath nd furan treatment, if its ich with it most likely is unless u provide a pick, its nothing to really go crazy about IMO our going to have to fallow ur tank

I kno i seen ur threads nice tank btw lol is the fish eating? My advice would be tank transfer method, make sure there eating and run ur current dt fallow
