This is very ez to do with pe mysis cubes if trying to portion that way, strain with rodi water after defrosting to prevent phosphate spike as well. Then I would use just some quality pellets and LRS as supplement to the main staple of mysis, if you want to do it like that

Later you get used to how much you actually need and can get the flatpacks (much bigger for cheaper) and portion it yourself by eye

I feed my fish alot of sea shell food like clams,mussels, oysters,scallops and fish absolutely love them,especially the clams,just buy them from supermarket and freeze them then pull a few out each day and cut slivers of them to feed but as imo variety is best I also feed 8 different kinds of frozen food plus oceans nutrition algae sheets and algae flakes,very rarely also feed pellets but not that often as I read live foods or fresh or once fresh amd newly frozen is best for the fish.
That lrs food seems to be good and reef frenzy but never tried it .
I only started feeding the clams and such as got a copperband and he was bit picky and not really eating frozen mysis so there mainly for him but feed tank 3- 4 times a day and always some clams in with every feeding ,seems to be going great so far

I would add in a variety and I think cubes and nori are fine. I would add some pellets as well. That seems like a few larger fish and may need a bit more food. Don't get too discouraged, we have all been through these problems.

Ok thanks. I feel so bad I don’t want to be starving them at all. Ughh it’s like I had this finally going right after my first tank crash due to overfeeding. And now ich. Does it very get any easier. My fiancé is done with it at this point but I’m determined. I’m going to up the food intake. And get my water tested and attempmt to dip the 4 infected fish friday. Wish me luck I am nervous because I don’t want to kill anyone. I will also look into a QT system but being it’s a reef tank with coral and inverts idk if that will help I can’t dose copper into it. Also if i dip the fish in copper will trace elements kill my inverts or it’s only when you place it directly in the DT

API notorious for false readings which I suspected and numbers likely higher. Ammonia badge rendered useless as it is also for freshwater and rarely accurate. I would highly suggest to take a water sample to a trusted LFSthat does NOT use API kits and see what readings they come up with.
I try not to recommend this step for ich as it is regarded as gamble , but with NO quarantine you can use a Combination of Polyp Lab Medic along with Ruby Rally pro for treatment. treat for 10 days. I was able to beat a serious outbreak with this combo which is reef safe. MEDIC is peroxide salts but does work. Also aerate with treatment

Yes, 16 fish is a lot and needs more than 3 cubes a day. Maybe feed them the three cubes about 3 times a day, but that still will be too little if they are the normal size cubes.

Some solid food, pellets or flakes, will hold them over more. Fish get Ich either from having it and then being introduced to your system, due to a temperature spike (water getting very cold for some reason), or other stressful event.

Your corals probably died because of a phosphate buildup from the overfeeding. That can happen because of the type of food also, some raise phosphate very easily. I use these pellets and flakes currently.

If using Cooper, only use in a tank or bucket outside of dt and never in a display tank that has any inverts ( snails,crabs, urchins,shrimps,corals) or any tank that you plan to have inverts at a later date.

I dont want to put you off but if you just take the 4 infected fish out of the display tank and medicate,ich is still in your display tank and the remaining fish maybe infected but showing no signs you can see ,so even if get all ich of the 4 fish you remove ,when you add them back to display tank ,they can just get re- infected, this is why best to remove all fish to medicate and let the dt ( display tank ) run fallow for 76 days or 45 days if raise temps to 81 degrees,this is to let all the ich hatch and basically starve to death as no fish for them to feed on so to speak .

I wish you all the luck and dont panic and just do what the experts on diesese suggest.

To aerate = add airstone or have alot of surface agitation for gas exchange to get more 02 in the tank
