That is interesting. I have used paraguard for all my qt and have not seen where they were affected with its use. I will say, it is not one that is really needed so you are not missing anything with not using it.

got a Hanna checker I made sure it stays 1.9

The thing that gets me is treating with copper power for 30 days, and then moving the fish to another tank to observe. But ich doesn't always present itself on the fish. The fish could technically still have ich and not flash or show spots. Probably why its so difficult to have a ichless system. Especially now with the new study Humble fish posted, fallow periods may not work as they found ich can lay dormant indefinitely in low oxygenated areas of the tank.

i went spend 1k bough a another tank due to having alot of fish put everyone in there for 4 months 2 months i did copper 2 MONTHS, rest 2 months i start changing water every week till i had 0 copper in the tank.
