All he’s doin is staying on the bottom of the tank during the day then at night he’s somewhere in the rocks the yellow tang still snaps at him but he snaps back he snaps At my cleaner wrasses when they try to clean him

That looks like Velvet. I would start with a FW dip to give him some temporary relief and get your QT setup. Velvet is a quick killer so time isn’t on your side. You’ll need to treat all fish and leave your DT fallow for 6 weeks.

Here’s a write up on velvet and treating it.

Really don’t know how he got it all the other fish have been in the tank all healthy I have a 57 watt uv sterilizer how do they get it

I read you’re original post and it says you cannot remove the fish from your DT. There isn’t a reef safe way to treat Velvet. You can do a RRR bath(75-90 min and aerate heavily) to help but it will not cure velvet. Your fish need to be in copper at a minimum of 1.50ppm ((preferably 1.75 with cheleted copper like copper power) or in CP. Velvet will wipe out all of your fish eventually without treatment. One of your new fish carried this in from the LFS you purchased him at(probably the wrasse).

I don’t have a qt tank a buddy of mines gave me some ruby reef rally and kick ich

How about the ruby reef rally?

Yes, you can do a 75-90 min heavily aerated bath in a bucket with Ruby Reef Rally and it will buy him some time but will not cure Velvet. Your DT (display tank) needs to be fishless (fallow) for 6 weeks to starve the parasite out.

Make sure you use a heater in the bucket also

Called my lfs store n told them about my outbreak and he states he doesn’t know it happened because they treat the fish system with copper so really don’t know

Most LFS run sub therapeutic levels of copper and that’s how these get through. They are constantly adding new water to account for fish sales, evaporation, etc.

I read up on The rally it states it’s reef safe I can put it in my display tank

I would do a bath versus treating your reef DT, I’m 99.9% sure it will not cure velvet. It’s main ingredient is Acriflavine and it has more of an antiseptic benefit. It may slow the progression but to eradicate velvet you’ll need to go fallow and treat the fish in QT with copper or CP.

Rally claims Reef Safe. It will turn the water green. It will not cure velvet by any means.

I agree with the velvet diagnosis.

All of your fish need removed from your DT and placed in QT treated with copper as advised above if you want to have a chance at saving them.

Sorry for your troubles.
