Just picked up two new butterflies and have them in quarantine. After about four days I noticed an abundance of tiny little white dots. They seem to be loose and I am guessing they are in the ich trophonts leaving the host. I have treated the tank with Prazipro and Melafix already in the past week. Wondering if it's safe to start copper treatment now. Also have a protein skimmer and UV sterilizer on the tank

Not sure what we have to look at?
The dots on the glass or does the fish has dots as well?
If this is Ick you can treat them in your QT and do the TTM at the same time.

Oh I see what you mean. There are dots on the glass that obscure the area

Here's a few better ones. The micro bubbles from the protein skimmer we're showing up

It showed up overnight if that helps. I started Cupramine in the tank today.

I think treating them with copper is the right route to go.

I just can't help but wonder if those are micro bubbles sticking to the fish.
