Thanks everyone for the help. Is it harmful? I thought it was kind of cool because I had never seen it before but wasn't sure if it would damage the tank. Thanks again everyone. It is Neomeris annulata....a macro algae that does love calcium. You can manually remove it if you don't want it in your tank.
Think of it like star polyps. They grow fast and can be appealing to some but not others. They won't hurt anything but like I said they grow fast and will take over live rock. If you like em then keep em!Thanks everyone for the help. Is it harmful? I thought it was kind of cool because I had never seen it before but wasn't sure if it would damage the tank. Would you happen to know how to get rid of them? I tried picking them out but that only seemed to make them grow faster... Any fish that will eat them?Think of it like star polyps.
