ID please lost 3 fish this AM

Myself other tang that passed looked liked that like black sand on it but fine black sand, then the clown after he passed looked as if it had powder all over it im guessing velvet. My thing was all this happened over night the one tang without them blaxk spots was the only one I noticed with anything. Then all this happened lol
You would only food soak metro to treat intestinal worms (white stringy poop) or Kanaplex for an internal infection. Since these fish are all in QT, dose the water with Kanaplex to fight the external infection on the tang.
Soo I dosed with kana plex and they fought hard but they were still taken out one after another. Welllll time to let this tank sit for 72 days and work on the aquascape etc get all that right then ill start slowly adding back in as i pick my new ones out and QT them. Gah its crazy how fast something can knock everything out and i havent changed much!
It definitely sounds like velvet, I'm sorry for your losses.
I would suggest QT'ing all new fish and treating prophylactically with copper. It's just rampant right now [emoji30]

Agreed Sad part was I haven't added any new fish since about 1 month and a half ago and they were all QTd lol i think it was from a frag piece i added like less than a week before. I forgot I added it and saw it and was like nooooooo

That stinks man. Ive been there. The wait sucks bad too. Lfs had 2 fish on my wish list while i was trying to save a few fish. Had no qt space. Then i still lost them all only thing i had in my aquarium was a few soft corals and anemones and 1 skunk cleaner shrimp for 3 months ugh. Good luck and it recovers.
I plan to add two rocks like in a triangle shape in the front centerish, if you look at the second photo those are some rocks I had to pull some frags off that grew onto my rock. So I took them out and will acid bath them then add them back after the sit for a while. Moreover when planning my aquascape i wanted to leave things off center to draw attention to the entire tank, I cannot remember who the author of the post was but it was incredible information and really helped me with my aquascape!
It's hard to fill a 180 with coral moving from a 100g lol!! But hey I'm very very glad all my beautiful coral is still doing well! Tangs are the beautiful colors of coral are what make me love my hobby! Such a great feeling to know that I had part in creating something so impressively awesome!
