Branching hydroid…I can see the white polyps on the branching. they’ll go away if you eliminate their food source or physically remove them.

I am currently watching the halloween hermit mow these hydroids down. The electric blue may be doing the same, but the halloween hermit is having a field day on the rock containing some of them. I have been watching him grab the larger stalks and rip them right off the rock and eat them. I have probably 50 blue hermits that ignore these things.
