I have no idea what this thing is; I moved my zoa rock because I was changing up my rock work, and this slimy thing almost like a slug, but it was kind of dangling from what looked like a spider web, I've been seeing strands of this stuff all around my tank and I couldn't figure out what it was.

Seriously I have no idea what that is. Hopefully it's nothing bad, although it sure LOOKS nasty

Polychaete - Eunice
Bobbit Worm, Eunice Worm

That slime might be what it uses to make tunnel etc

Kind of looks like it does have some structure. Anyway to stretch it out in cup or on something and get some closeups. Believe me I could be totally wrong :)

Idk. Hard to make out detail. Don't kill it though. Ill take it if you don't want it. :-) lol love strange critters. If you have more pics, I'd love to see em.

Couple more pictures; there is definetly no structure to it; (I squeezed it) it's slimy and slug like the small things on the side are kind of tentacles that I tore off accidentally when getting it off the rock.

Spaghetti worm maybe? The slimy part would be the worm, stringy part it's feeding appendages?
Try looking that up and see if it looks like the spider Web stuff your seeing..
The broken parts in the cup looks like the exposed part of the spaghetti worms in my tank

I was considering that but boy that is the biggest 1 I have ever seen if it is!
