This guy came attached on my live rock from Gulf Live Rock. It was in bad shape months ago and just now it’s started to puff up and regain some color. This the is the best picture I could get due to its placement. Any ID? Is it a maze brain coral?

I can try when I get home. For what it is worth, the ridges are about 1/4" in height.Looks like maybe a platygyra or a favites, but it’s hard to tell from the pics. Can you take one under white lights?
It couldn’t be a Platygyra or favites, both aren’t Caribbean natives. We do have very close relatives of both though. I think it’s a Rose Coral; Manicina areolata. It’s in the family Faviidae and the subfamily Faviinae so it’s close to Favia. Search that and see if it matches, I’m not totally sure because I can’t see too well in pictures. This guy came attached on my live rock from Gulf Live Rock.
