Is it better at night then look bad after sun up? Based on the stringy appearance on the rocks my first guess would be dinos. I have had diatoms that looked similar on the gravel. Get a microscope and there are some smart guys here to help.
If you're running the main tank fallow, why not "qt" the cuc in the display? No fish right now in it but there are snails. I plan to add more but they need to sit in QT right now so limited on the amount of cuc right now. I understand that algae is normal but was more wondering if this is something that’s going to be hard to correct without extreme measures. I’m in no hurry so if it’s something that will start to correct itself with time that’s fine.
Fallow period is near the end so I didn't want to add anything new to it that wasnt QT seperate. If you're running the main tank fallow, why not "qt" the cuc in the display?
