If you had $600 to spend on your reef tank, only on your tank, what would you get?
I would really love to see what all of us would do! I would love to see 100+ people reply so we can all really see the spread of out community!
Please either reply to the poll or reply below!

No love for softies? ;)

While I would be tempted to get a controller, I would most likely get a generator/battery backup.

I've really just started back so: even more "support" items/equipment for some of my developing means and methods and to help minimize/ease maintenance. I just ordered a handful of minor items and totals up to about $300. 'Course that's not counting all the stuff already purchased. And as the tank matures, I'll be making more support type purchases.

Mp40 and ato.90 gallon rimless going up soon. Everything else is here rock, sand, stand, tank, rodi, sump, dual reactors battery back up and 2 vectra m1 pumps. Don’t need the light yet.

This is a good poll ! I want all kinds of stuff too. I'd like a couple of hardy sps .
I need bigger return pump on the 75.
I need more fish for both tanks .
I'd like a cleaner shrimp for the 75 & I can always use more snails. Maybe a cucumber for the 180 .
I'd like some improved wave makers & all kinds of stuff more than 600 $ !
How about You MSB? I have a feeling You have an extra 600 in hand . ;)

Not sure what your point is as everyone is in a different place with their tank. For example I voted return pump and maintenance supplies as I would drop $400 towards a pallet of salt (Yes I use a lot and hoard a years worth at a time) and have been wanting to upgrade my return pump to DC power on my main tank. My tank has been up for 7 years or so and I have everything else. Not really any room for more coral either so there isn't much to spend on besides supplies. But newer reefers are going to have much different ideas. Comparing apples to oranges with this.

:)- I do, just sold some art that nobody liked anymore, and so I am limiting myself to $600 on the tanks, and saving the rest! I think I might go the apex 2016 route, just because my JR isn’t enough days for me!

This is not a comparison of reefers. The poll is just the easiest way to do it! I, and others, would love to see what we all as reefers need and want in our tanks. I think it is a great way to learn and grow in the hobby!
