I'm starting a saltwater tank for the 1st time & need help. I have a bio cube 29g & I wanna do live coral & don't which coral to get plus I want 2 clown fish & what other fish that works with them.

Welcome to R2R!

Does it have the stock PC lighting? If so then your limited to softies and some LPS corals.
For fish you will want to stick with something small that stays small.... like a clown goby or the like.

welcome to R2R :) Banggai cardinal, flame wrasse, no six line wrasse trust me I'm experienced. Dottybacks, or if you have too much cash burning a hole in your pockets you can get a flaming prawn goby ;) go on liveaquaria and just look in nano fish, lots of cool choices.

Welcome to R2R!!! Great advice above. A few barnacle blennys would be cool in a small tank like that. For coral some easy beginner stuff with lots of color would be eagle eye Zoas, dragon eye Zoas and some Mushrooms possibly.

Petco told me if I get a banggai cardinal I would have to get 3 of them is that true? Because I was told I can have only 5 or 6 fish in my bio cube & I want 2 clown & that would limit me to only 2 type of fish

Welcome to R2R!

Don't trust petco...or any lfs, as a general rule. Any store is out to make money. Do your own research and ask here first.

I dont believe you have to buy three at a time either. Also don't get caught up in the "how many fish per gallon" rule. Stock to the tank and stay small in a bio cube.

Welcome home! You will love it here.

Despite your name, we are glad to have you! :D

One clown would get along fine and free up bio load for other fish. Try a yellow watchman goby, longnose hawkfish or flame hawkfish, and an orchid dottyback!

If I had to choose between the two I would do the second

Also does my lt1 firebird fit in with the chevys lol :-)

Welcome. You'll love it here. I also have a sixline and love him. No trouble at all. My bangai cardinal was my first fish and has been alone for more than a year you don't have to have 3+. Have heard just having two they will fight. One or a groups better. just what Ive read though. All these fish recomendations are awesome. But I would see what fish you "have to have" and then research proper tank mates for them. Just remember everything in this hobby is well intended experienced advice and can be wrong. It is all situational. One persons experience with any given fish, invert, or coral will almost certainly have an opposing opinion somewhere. Make your own path. And hold yourself responsable. Let the obsession begin. :)
