IM NUVO 40 tank is loud! Any help?

No, it wouldn't. Remember, as evaporation occurs the salt stays in the tank. Water evaporates, salt does not. Salinity actually increases as evaporation occurs. Properly adding just RO/DI will bring the tank back to the original salinity provided you are filling it back consistently at the set original water level.
