IN SHOCK!

I wonder if they gave you waste water.

Are they keeping corals alive?

Another possibility did you use a bucket or container used to mix saltwater?

@OmuNegru Just to be clear, when people here are saying the store might have given you waste water, they mean from the waste line of the RO/DI system, they are not saying that it's dirty drain/sewer water.

When you run water through an RO/DI system, part of the water comes out with (hopefully) 0 TDS, and the rest that normally gets wasted down the drain has really high TDS (because it contains all the stuff that was taken out of the "good" water). So if someone at the fish store mixed up the "good" output line with the waste water line, they could be giving you the wrong stuff without realizing it. Definitely should let them know.

I used the bucket for RODI water. I marked them all separately just to be 100% sure I don't mix them by mistake.

I will inform them for sure.

I would actuallt test or have LFS test the water you are purchasing verifying:

Phosphate
TDS
ammonia
PH
Nitrate

I won't be using their service anymore. Will buy all the test necessary and test myself at home. Learned my lesson. And for fish and coral, already found another fish store, way further from home but more trustful. And from now on will quarantine EVERYTHING I buy from any LFS, will make and test my own RODI, AND test the water before making a WC.

You can't use an inline tester to test standing water. It only works in a fitting with water flowing over it. I would double check with the proper tester before you go off on your LFS.

I will never, ever, ever buy RODI from a commercial source unless I personally know the owner. Grocery stores rip you off to.

I tested different "standing" waters with the rods, including multiple RODI waters, tap water and then my RODI water. Only after that I mounted it on the in/out water lines. The results were the same with flowing and standing water. I'm 100% sure their water was garbage. No doubt.
