I sense there are a lot of aquariums in your home...

I'm still on the fence whether you added another aquarium or a pool...LOL
...yes
It's both at this point. I have a wall hammer the size of a large beach ball that needs to go into the 800g tomorrow. Someone needs to go swimming for that.I'm still on the fence whether you added another aquarium or a pool...
OMG... lolI might do that. I have several 110 gallon black containers plumbed together already for my house sump.![]()
It's the bristleworms I'm worried aboutI need something like this. Maybe whenever we put the expansion on our house I'll put a big built in like that instead of a now measly 200gal.
I would love to be able to go swim in my aquarium.
Of course it dosnt seem all that safe when it comes to body oils doesn't it?
Probobly nems too but I would assume a wetsuit would prevent thatIt's the bristleworms I'm worried about
It's a box on the outside. What is the overflow like on that tank? How is it set up?
nems have no effect on my skin. No idea why. But, if a hammer touches my skin, I’m loosing that skin. Sucks. I keep getting them in from my wholesaler in mix packs and then giving them away because I’m so sick of them.Probobly nems too but I would assume a wetsuit would fox that
Some wetsuit boots/gloves would probably have you covered. It's the bristleworms I'm worried about
I had put in some delicate fish and anemones a while ago to make sure the water is safe to add everything else. I moved water and rocks from systems that are 3 to 20 years old. That seems to be enough for the stability of the tank luckily. I took some fish from the break downs and they seem happy but I do need to add more fish. I have clowns, tangs, jawfish, chromis, a copperband and a wrasse so far.I have so many questions I don't even know where to start.
But absolutely amazing. What really stands out to me is the sheer height of the system. Usually with monster tanks I see around, it's more width and length than height for obvious reasons like ease of maintenance and lighting but the depth to this one is very unique.
Also I can't wait until the fish go in.
Do you have any plans for fish?
I feel like this tank needs a grouper
Yes, I was able to set them up to get 50 par on lower 3rd and it’s not even at 100% power."No..NO!, Don't even think about it!!" -- MrWellington's wife.
On a side note, I'm loving my Reefi's as well. You should have plenty of Par, even at that depth.
