In too deep, 800 gallon experiment build

GFSI kept tripping and causing issues the the shop. I ran new wires to run just the pump while I work on everything else. Replaced outlet and worked on other stuff. That’s when I got shocked in the water from the pump. ‍♀️
Then I replaced the pump with a big pool pump. At this point it was 2:30am and I walked away. Next day power tripped again as soon as AC turned on. Still too much power on that breaker. New wires have been ran again to a completely new breaker but same electrical panel (for now), had help this time so that might make a difference. Wish me luck because I haven’t checked it yet this morning. Electric company is planning on installing another breaker panel and a new account just for all the power in my garage. At that point I hope it works a lot smoother. I got this adorable little nugget in my feeder shrimp.

I’ll set up cute home for her today.
Hello there little friend!

I just ordered some Florida live rock and they said octopus is a common hitchhiker at this time of year. I didn't get one though.

My wife and I just sat and binged the progress so far. She's really impressed. I'm just awe-struck! My gosh that's a lot to take on.

When I read the part about 20 years for some of the corals, are those ones you've grown or from customers tanks that were torn down over the years?

Enjoy that "little nugget"! Really cool!

Thank you!! The 20 year old corals are from a tank break down that I bought recently. I'm lucky they handled the move well. I keep worrying they will die on me but they seem to be going strong still. In a month or so I might frag a little off the Monti

I have more gumption than knowledge. Working that short coming on this site. Please continue with updates, photos, corals in all manner of your knowledge. Awesome job. I'm green with envy. My wifey pooh has placed a 400g cap on display tank size for me.

400 is still really big. I just added two sailfin tang today

I had two big tanks side by side for past 6 months or so, sailfin tang in each. I noticed them watching each other a lot through the glass but not aggressively. The prettier one started getting aggressive towards other fish in the tank afterwards. My guess is he is male, other is females. I think they like each other. I took the risk today and put them both in the same tank. They seem soooo happy together and only attack other tangs as they look around for a place to settle down. Here’s a video of them hanging out.

Picked up in long Island, as you can see it blew out a silicone seam. Had 8 3in wide, 48in L strips made. Removed all the silicone from the inside and vertical joints. Injected back into joints and added 2 strips to each corner. The aluminum bracing was great for the length of the tank but it's so tall it would flex the other way as well. Delivered to Virginia, currently the craziest garage I've ever seen. But if anyone can make it all work it's her.

Hey darlin'! How's the tank treating you?

Also, where did you find feeder shrimp? I have an eel now so I'd like to get a supply of shrimps for him, can't seem to find any in stock.

And also #2, are you still selling coral? Momma needs new pretties! All my last stuff I got from you are doing so good. That Duncan colony has doubled in heads, it now hosts my clowns.

My supplier said all the shrimp are gone because of the water being so warm. That’s why no one has them available in stock.

I have a bunch of corals for sale still
Christinascoralcabin.com

I’m still building the site and adding to it. Not everything I have for sake is up there yet. Been working on that nonstop past week. Next time I’m on the computer I will put together a coupon code for you so you get a discount. I’ll message you it directly. Or you can just give me a list of what you want and I’ll put together a pack for you. I got fish now too

Ahh, I didn't even think about the warmer water being a factor for the shrimp. I looked on rusalty and a couple others but all 'out of stock'. Fortunately my eel is easy to feed, even goes for flakes, but I thought live shrimp to hunt would be good for him.

I did just buy live rock from TBS and it came full of life, they even mentioned the warming waters were not affecting their offshore site. Thankfully.

Look at all those baby Duncan heads. I really love this piece. So do my clowns.

I love your website, you're way too funny.

Who's drawing the fish? I love them. Really love the eel with the cleaner shrimp.

I'm still browsing. Eyeballing dwarf seahorses. Do they grow when the spell wears off? Lololol :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
