I believe prices will be slightly higher, after speaking with my colleague he said that its not a lot more, if the prices are too high then the local fish stores and wholesalers will not buy, if the prices were too high to where the stores and wholesalers cant make money then they will not buy. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'll believe it when I see it. Talk is cheap and via the "opinion-net" more tales get passed along with zero truth/proof. 90% of these claims are folks "parroting" what they heard. Again I won't believe it until I hear in a publicly announced statement from the Indonesian gov't.

I wouldn't expect large drops in prices for awhile and when they do, no where near they were before the ban. It's a different world now folks.

I manage a brick and mortar local fish store. I have what are called transhippers, basically middlemen, who I use to import boxes of coral from Indonesia, Australia sometimes Kenya and Vietnam.

Ah, I did not realize that you worked at a fish store. This makes total sense now that I hear it.
