I am more of an internal beauty, personality kind of guy... besides it will grow back.Oh, man!!
Sean, you gonna be ok?
I'm so sorry!Dead fish pics below... you have been warned.
Well, I lost two fish today. We will see who is still left in the morning. I tried to get everyone else out but I can't catch them.
I noticed that Nemo was not acting normally (slow, lathatgic) so I started getting ready to transfer it to a hospital tank.
I had literally just broke down the last "extra" tank that I had going in the basement. So I needed to heat the water first.
IDK if it would have made a difference Nemo was dead and then Neon my Atlantic Blue Tang was gone shortly after.
I have no idea what caused this. One fish I could deal with but two makes me say something caused this issue.
Neither of them were showing any signs of illness. A few hours ago I would have said that they were in great health.

I can assure you that the little specs/bumps are just sand grains from me collecting them out of the display.
I'll update In the morning if there are any more surprises.
Can we go back to this under appreciated comment please?Oh, man!!
Sean, you gonna be ok?
First thing that I thought was oxygen depletion. That is what it looked like to me. I turned my eductors up to pull in some air. pH is consistently at 0.2 daily flux, there weren't any peaks or dips today.Bummer , PH has been stable ? not an oxygen issue ?
I’m sorry you are going through this. I have a feeling 2023 is going to be a good year for you.Good news is no additional losses and everyone is looking good, acting normal, and active. Bad news is that I am still at a complete loss as to why I lost two presumably healty fish within minuets of each other and only an hour, maybe an hour and a half, after showing lathatgic behavior.
This has not been my year for fish.
I can think of a few right now.Any new year resolutions you got planned?
