Sounds great! I will check out your pics! Yea my heater is in the return pump section.....but I like your set up back there so I took out one filter sock and put my media basket with my Chemipure Blue where my right filter sock was. Then I am going to probably move the heater in the empty chamber or leave it where my return pumps are. I needed more water flow where through the media basket was. Thanks for the good idea! LOL!@cancun where did you place your heaters? In the return pump section? In looking at my chambers, from left to right, I have them set as Filter sock -> skimmer - > return pumps -> heaters - > filter sock.
I've got some photos of the SR 60 in my build thread here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/im-sr-60-1st-build.511360/page-2 .My goal is to finish the aquascape in the next couple of days and get it wet this weekend!
As far as livestock, I've been looking at a pair of designer clowns, a royal gramma, a diamondback or watchman goby, six line wrasse, banggai cardinal, and a purple firefish (need a lid though!) I'm not sure I can fit all those in the 60, but will see how they start acclimating.
For corals I was considering mainly an LPS tank with a few SPS up top directly under the lights.
Sounds like you should be good imo on that stock list. Be careful with six lined Wrasses though....they can get agressive as they mature. I had one for several years....then one day he snapped and started attacking all my other Wrasses...he was too smart for a fish trap, so I had to take out half my rock to net him out. The rest of your list sounds great. I also have all LPS and some softies. Plus some nems...I love my nems....
I have two EchoTech XR15s and one EchoTech MP40......love the lights especially.. with the shallow tank you get plenty of light even at the bottom! [emoji16]
