Is there any sort of wifi enabled feeder out there?

I have a Ring camera pointed at the tank and I'd like to be able to hit a button on my phone to initiate feeding.
I am currently using a Fluval PF2 auto feeder and I think because I have so few fish the "lowest" setting is very inconsistent, sometime it over feeds and sometimes not at all (I watch it thru the ring camera) I come back from vacation with fish that are either starving or the tank is extra dirty with all the extra food just rotting on the bottom of the tank.

There has to be some sort of internet based feeder that I can manually activate?

the hydros system has one, but then you need the hydros system to use it.

I never heard of a wifi feeder on its own, it would be convenient though.

Took a look at the Plank, the way it can control very small amounts of food is impressive. I do have an Apex system already so it sounds like this will give me exactly what I need..

Side question is that if I want to try and feed smaller amounts more often, do the fish eat if its really dark in the tank? (Wondering if I need to expand my lighting hours)

I didn’t know you already have an apex. You wouldn’t need the Wi-Fi smart outlet for the plank if you have an outlet or two available. Price wise, already being in the apex world, the afs is solid. I have two, one is at least ten years old now. They work great for certain pellets. If you want to go freeze dried like with the avast reef jerky or diy, then I’d opt for the plank hands down. As far as feeding when it’s dark, I’d try it while watching the tank before implementing it into your schedule. Most my fish would not be interested in food when resting, but the shrimps would be all over it. It might be a waste of food, or might not.

I saw alot of terrible reviews for the Apex AFS and it also didn't seem like I could manually control it...

Certainly $200 for the plank is a ton of money for a feeder, but its ability to control small amounts I think will be worth it (those spinner drum feeders just aren't reliable enough with the small number of fish I am feeding)

Thanks for all the good information everyone...

That afs is a overpriced piece of trash.

You want this, 25$ and works just fine:

Anything apex can be controlled manually or automatically. That’s the whole point behind the product. My experience with the afs has been great, even with very small amounts of food. With that, the food plays a big role. You can’t go wrong with the plank either, especially with freeze dried as that’s what it’s truly designed for.

I have 2 of these. Working perfectly for going on a year now. WiFi app controlled over internet. I can click one them individually and feed from anywhere on the planet. DIRT cheeeep too! Also can set up schedules.
