Intro and quick question

Hello everyone my name is adnan but u can call me addy, I have a 120gallon salt water tank I have 5 fish in it and a lot of live rock, it was my brothers but he moved out and wanted me to have it he taught me how to maintain it but he never rlly cleaned the glass does anyone have any tips of how to clean it I have a scrapper and was told to use that, as u can see in the pic only one side was ever cleaned and the bottom is starting to get things growing on it

Welcome to R2R!!! How do you mean only one side was cleaned, are you referring to just the outside of the tank?. If so the the inside part of the scrubber in the picture may need to be flipped around allowing the blade to touch the glass.

Mag cleaner is good if build up isn’t to bad. If it doesn’t come off easy, you’ll need a scrapper or sponge and some elbow grease.

You’ll probably need to do a water change after to, if it release to much junk into the water. Part of a weekly routine.
 
Are you talking about the left and right sides, if so then you will probably need a scrapper as said above as it’s looks pretty thick.
Maybe even not try to clean all at once. It does look like a lot. Tied to water changes most highly recommended.

I’ve been using this and I stopped bc it’s putting out a lot of junk and Idk how to change the water
