Hey guys.
Figured id introduce myself. Just moved back to Huntsville (spent 5 years in the Marine Corps stationed in NC)
Been reefing for close to 3 years. Ive had a few tanks and plenty of fish and coral, from zoas to duncans to SPS.
I currently have a 93 gallon powered by 2 gen radions and a reef angel (best investment ever) an eheim compact 3000+ pump, an old school euro-reef skimmer, various dosers and reactors running GFO and carbon. and a 20 gallon JBJ frag tank converted to a shallow reef powered by a Jebao wp-10 and a maxspect razr.
My lionfish is my pride and joy. Had him since the start.. Now hes about 10" long and just as and wide. Same goes with my black and white clowns. theyve laid eggs a few times, but I think the move stressed them out too much, it's been awhile since ive seen em mate.
Soon ill be upgrading to a 175 once i get moved into a new home. staying with the in-laws who have very graciously allowed me to keep my tanks running here.
Anyways, I haven't had much luck finding vendors here, and it doesnt look like there are too many reefers here./ hopefully i find some hidden reefers and can start trading up..
Anyways, while I've got your attention, Ive got a vertex illumina sr360 that i replaced with the 2 radions For Sale, $400, comes with the usb doggle, pm me.

My livestock includes;
93 Gallon cube:
Lionfish
Blue hippo tang
Yellow tang
Sailfin tang
welso open brain
couple of acan frags
various zoas
duncan coral (5 head, non branching)

20 gallon shallow reef:

ruby red dragonet
bangaii cardinal
various CUC
acans
pink, yellow, green, blue zoas
plate coral
more duncans (branching, 6 heads)
blue stag acro
torch
frogspawn
hammer-all about 3 inches with 2 heads
(i like my eupyhlia)

GSP

Welcome to the money pit, pull some of us out before you jump in.... Welcome back to HSV. Yes we dont have a lot of stores to choose from. But there is a few folks around. We have meetings every now and then. Check back regularly and come join us when we have a meeting. There is a new store called Aquatic Cove opening up next to Subway near Palmer Road.

I have a 190 gallon. Check out my recent build thread to see details.

to the North Alabama gang and R2R. You'll like it here! There's quite a few reefers around town. Some of us make a lot more noise than the others but we all get along and get together every once in a while. Good luck with your tanks and keep posting your progress.

I'm one of the noisy ones! Welcome to R2R and to NARC. You'll love the people in NARC. I moved to Alabama in summer of 2012 and I have made some great fish friends!

Bamareef is right, you need to check out Harryfrags.com. I think we all have H@rry's stuff in our tank. I know I sure do. Plus, H@rry and Mary Ruth are super sweet people!

Be sure to set your account to send you an email if you get a private message so that we can include you in the invites for the next meetup. And (time for self promotion) check out my build thread.

PS - Do you happen to be a Texas Hold 'Em player? Several of us like to play and get together from time to time if you want to join in.

Welcome to the area. I stopped by the new shop on county line by subway yesterday and it is nice. One wall of tanks with salt and fresh water fish and then two large frag tanks. I didn't buy anything as they only had the fish about a week. I might stop by next weekend to see what made it.

Tank looks great thank you for serving our country.
