I bought a hanna checker a couple of months ago. I watched about 5 different Youtube videos on how to use them and being a typical male did not read the instructions in the box. Anyway they ALL tore or cut one side of the reagent sachet. I did the same and always thought about the powder getting caught in the corners of the sachet thereby giving inconsistant amounts of reagent for the test.
I would do 2 or three tests one after the other with differing results. Then I read the instructions and we are to CUT the sachet on 2 edges with a radius at the corner and open them as in my image. I have tested this and am geting no varience at all with my tests
