Update for this morning. Nem didn't move last night, his mouth seems to be closing up.

Nems stress a lot during shipping but come back quickly once in the tank. I'd keep drip acclimating to a minimum -- as ammonia burn for anemones can happen like it can for fish once the bag is open.

@Lance M. Hey man, thanks for the offer. I'm glad to get to know more people from the area. So far my only local contacts are the fine people down at Tide Line. I read Amoo's post on taking care of a nem in a HT, and realized i won't need to pull any rock from my sump as well. I also have a lot of rock curing in the garage.

Picked up some nice red mushrooms about a week or two ago. JoeKnowsReefs is also local to us off Rivers and he normally has a good coral selection. I have never met him though since I usually only go in on Saturdays if I had to go in to work and catch it on my way home.

~11 yrs with reef tanks, a couple more of fw planted. I just have a 40B w/ 40B sump mixed reef set up now, with 4 bta's. In the future, I plan on setting up a larger peninsula style tank and converting my 54 corner from fw to probably a carpet tank. With the 54 corner, one 250 MH should do the trick. I've always wanted a carpet but have not had one due to my yellow watchman pair.

I'm only have haddoni for a month and I can confirm it's a predator with a bottomless stomach lol, you would shock how fast it pull a food or anything that touch its tentacle...less than 3 seconds and its prey/food would disappear, even a floating frozen mysis shrimp landed on it, its tentacle responded instantly

Sounds like you have a plan. Strong flow up top and low flow bottom. Looking for your build thread now.

It's doing much better now, actually starting to see some bubbles in the tips again. Where did you get this nem from? Someone local?

Yea dude let me tell you... you know about what happened with my first eel. Crushed me. Well I talked to my fiancee and the eel was her favorite too, so she said we had to get another one when we do the 90 cube in the living room. Then the whole Hawaii legislation happened, and I saw Zoacollector's post... I explained to her about the whole Hawaii thing and she said "Get one now!" Normally she's all like "You better not spend that much money!"

Lol with the party happening in my tank right now with the new tang and 2 Sailfins I'm thinking about changing out my top for a steel cage. There's definitely a WWE title on the line in there right now.

That's what I have on the eel's tank. It's a heavy painted metal screen for reptiles. My fish all get along right now. They are in the 40B, pair of black ocelaris, Atlantic blue and lieutenant tang(originally planned for a 160g once they grew, will give them to a good home now) and a six line. I'll get a white tail bristletooth and maybe a yellow eye kole instead. I've recently gotten interested in leopard wrasses too, and I'd like to keep a pair once I get the new tank, but I know the six line would go nuclear.
