Is my bubble king running properly?

Is this correct?

Yeah that’s a good starting point, I have a double cone 200 on my 750L system, I run at 26 watts if I can the bubbles are finer and produce more waste, as long as the depth is in the 8-9” range you will probably be ok, but you won’t really know until it’s bedded in a bit which is probably going to take a few weeks to bed in I’d leave it alone for know and stop fiddling. The RC thread is excellent and Leif from RE is very active on it as is the Facebook page.

Have you done anything with the bigger air line? like pushing it in or?

I don’t know what you mean sorry, the large flexible line I just leave alone, the smaller rigid line is for ozone and I don’t use that I just leave it on

oh no thats what i meant the large line! I tampered with it a bit... what would be factory setting for that in terms of it being pushed in for more water or pulled out for an airtight seal?

Do you mean the silicon tube that goes from the pump and to the silencer?

In your first picture it gives the appearance that the larger airline going to the skimmer pump is kinked. I'm not sure if that would solve your issue though.

It seems to be performing drier with that bend but ill play around with it more!

As long as it’s connected at both ends, I’d make sure you remove the kink, and drop your pump power, what are you running it at now?

I will do that and right now its running at 46 with that kink but its been pulling some mad gunk!

RE recommend about pump owner of 28

Okay ill put it to 28 and leave it at notch 3 for the break in :) currently with a low bio load and at 8" deep

The other thing is it sounds like your RE skimmer is over sized for your tank. This can and will be an issue with it running consistently without having to fine tune it.

If you dont get it fixed here, my suggestion would be to join the FACEBOOK forum for Royal Exclusive/Bubble King Group and you can get either @scott Leif or @Marco Reef to help you out. They both are reps for Royal Exclusive USA.

Oh yes it is! and also the low bioload isnt a big help either XD but i will enquire to them if things are stunting collection, thank you!

Place this on a skimmer stand for which you can also make one and elevate it. As others stated- water level too high
