Moderate light and water flow in addition to the following:

Alk- 450
Mag 1300
Ca 450
temperature 77-79
Salinity 1.025
Nitrate .03
Ph. 8.1-8.3

Acclimation under low light

The 80 nitrates seems like a huge jump to me, that's what made me think maybe new fish additions to the tank or something. I wonder if it's possible that nitrate test was a mis-test for some reason.

I thought the same so I did it a 2nd and 3rd time with the same results.
