Get some gloves and hemostats. You shouldn't be touching those, especially if you know they bother you, they give you headaches

Thanks I’ve had it forever then a random rock fell on it n is screwing everything up on it now but it’s eating I’m hoping for a comeback I’ll show a pic of where it got cut when it stops puffing ...the polyps have been there for years he seems to not let them grow on him just around him but I do pluck them once a month

they can encrust onto surfaces they’re attached to

Yea mines attached it’s been 5 years I doubt I can just pluck him off and I’m scared to even try as he’s been in that specific spot of the tank...but if he recovers im interested to see if he is attached but I deff think so

He ate but didn’t really expose those tentacles but he definitely ate and puffed up covering his wound

Feeding an injured LPs can really help. But I have no experience with scoly. Gl hope he recovers.

They aren't trying to grow on him
They are swarming him like wasps vs bees. They want him dead to take his place.
When he dies, they will grow on his skeleton.

Ty keep you posted I heard they can go downhill very fast or recover that can take months we’ll see hope for the best

he;s looking just fine. And hungry. They eat a lot.
But if he already had food yesterday, he's going to need to skip a meal.
