Where do they come from?Yes, they're very invasive
I'll try thatI believe the best way to deal with them is to put some coral epoxy over where it is (trying to get any on the tissue of the coral).
Who ever gave you that coral's tank, invasive in this hobby anyways means that they can take over your tank because they can sting corals, grow faster and out compete them- not an invasive species by definition. Check out this video for some more information and some do's and don'ts of fighting aptasia.Where do they come from?

Can they sting me, or am I good to take the rock they are on out? They can multiply very quickly to plague proportions.

I use gorilla glue for corals but I may try that! Thank youNo they won't sting you. Taking the rock out may not stop them. Once in the tank they can spread.
Don't freak out, most of us deals with them at some point. I have some in my tank. When I see one, I use some kalk paste to cover them with the pumps off. Works most of the time.
