Is PE Frozen Mysis Shrimp good?

Saw this at my lfs for $8 (on sale) and bought it while I was in a hurry to leave. I know it's dumb to ask after purchase, but is it good?

As others stated, yes. It is the staple food of all of my fish. I used to buy the frozen sheets for less money but the cubes are so convenient lol.

Yes, it’s a great product. Two things to consider about it are one, be aware of the size of the mysis. They can be quite large and may be harder for small/tiny fish to eat. Two, it should be rinsed. Here’s a ReefBuilders article explaining why...

Unfortunately the package has some leak so I ended up breaking apart all the cubes and put them in a small jar. But I find it easier since I don't have to rely on the whole cube every time I feed.

As you’re figuring out with all of the other posts, PE mysis is excellent!

It’s one of the few things my Bangaii Cardinal will eat. Picky eater that sometimes won’t even eat LRS Nano.

As others have mentioned it is a very good food with a history of use in aquaculture and public aquariums. It is rich in beneficial fatty acids and other nutrients. We're proud to be authorized to add PE Mysis shrimp to our foods and have their logo on our packaging. We go through tons (literally) of PE Mysis annually. Good luck and happy reefing!

The problem is my water now smells like shrimp :/ will the skimmer take care of that?

That's one of the main ingredients In my food mix. I use LRS herbivore, fertility, and usually a carnivore or chunky (my LFS didn't have the LRS one last time I needed so o got a different brand), I also use pe mysis, nori and selco bosst vitamins from fritz. Mix it all together once every 3 or 4 days and feed my tank 2x a day.

Before LRS existed PE was my staple food. Now I do feed LRS more then PE on it's own but I do still use it. Both are also great for corals. This was earlier this afternoon :

Fish with small mouths will still eat pe as will corals with small mouths.
