wow redstag, siiiiiick setup man! Love the tank!
Loving my XR4

Thanks man! Yeah, the xr4 was a perfect match for this setup, I couldn't be happier. I am contemplating adding a 24" reefbrite to the outside for that extra pop but I'm not sure I want to compromise the look of the fixture.GREAT looking setup! You have a lot of nice corals in there. What is the acro colony just above the frag rack on the right? And is that a Simplex with blue tips in the middle? Geez. lol
The XR4 gives perfect light spread over your tank. Perfect dimensions for that fixture. That is going to be one phenomenal tank in a year or so as things grow in. Well done.

The blue one on the right is my 30k lokani colony and up top on the right is my hawkins colony. The large simplex in the middle is my dustins deepwater that Ive grown from a single stick from back in early 2008 I believe.
Thanks again for the compliments, means a lot.
That is a gorgeous Lokani colony. I can only imagine what that looks like top down! And of course pics sometimes muddle the colors through the glass. I would love to get a hold of a piece of that deepwater down the road. May shoot you a pm on that one. It's a very tight setup and was very well thought out. Very pleasing to the eye (and I'm pretty critical)...lol.
Have you thought about how you would add the Reefbrite? Would you brace it to the side of the tank or try and retro fit it to the fixture itself? Curious as I would love to do the same thing, but have the exact same hangup on the aesthetics...
Sucks..sounds like you are in the minority....I realize that this reply is a bit 'dated', but I want to share my story so that others don't make the same mistake. I bought my Infinity XR6 at a MACNA (Pittsburg), so you know I've had the light a while. But I've had nothing but problems and finally got rid of it last year (with an AquaMedic-4 X 250W MH double ended bulbs, T-5, etc). I never did have both sides of my Infinity run at the same time and if they did, it wasn't for very long. The ballast over-drives the bulbs. I too had many problems with bulbs not fitting. I had to buy from Aquarium Obsessed. But they went out of business. With almost every bulb I replaced, it had a bulge in the glass from melting. My 215 Oceanic tank was hard to clean because the Sfiligoi fixture was too big. Except for one end, where I ended up putting another fixture because I just wasn't getting the light coverage on my 6 foot tank (the rep said I'd be fine with the 4-foot light fixture). At first, I kept blowing the fuses and Aquarium Obsessed (Now out of business) kept telling me to put 20 Amp fuses. I finally rebuilt the fuse holder and it stopped blowing the fuses (I used 10 Amp). I had problem after problem and my corals didn't grow very well (due to the lack of the bulbs lighting). I probably have 40 e-mails of problems and received no notice of Aquarium Obsessed going out of business (I was still conversing with them). I wrote a letter to the company in Italy and received no response (a waste of $14). Perhaps others have had good luck with their products, but not only was the service horrible, the light was cumbersome to work around and not very esthetic to look at. My corals were not growing. It also didn't run cooler like I was told it would (their exclusive design, they said). Since I've switched to AquaMedic, my corals are popping with color and finally growing nicely; I can work around the light fixture and things are cooler (well, in fairness, they re only 250W). But, I had to state my opinion; for $1600.00, I could have done much better. Good luck in your endeavors.
