Is there one additive that you swear by?

I dose iodine as well, probably not enough though. Brightwells Vitamin C made my zoas come back to life and start actually spreading for the first time in 8 months. I use selcon and garlic every 3 days or so in my fish food. My fish seem happy and healthy because of it.

+1 8.4 from brightwell easy PH/ALK supplements thats what I use.

One additive that I always use is Bio Magnesium by Tropic Marin with good success. I find it really easy to dose, I just add a measuring spoon full for every 30 gallons and that increases my Mg levels by about 5 ppm

Great thread.

Only additive i use other than Amino Acids (which I'm not sure if I even need b/c the tank is so small) is food soaked in selcon. Funny thing is that I feel that my coral seem to get a greater benefit from it than the fish do...maybe due to it containing Vitamin C? I also feel that this product will assist in filter feeding (or is it just feeding the bacteria than in turn the filter feeders feed on?) as it claims, but I have heard others say they do not believe this at all. Great stuff IMO nonetheless.

Might try out some of the Korallen products too since reading this thread...wondering if I should discontinue use of selcon if using something like spongepower?

fuel every time I dose it I swear my corals say thanks
