My emerald crab likes to sleep on top of the toadstool leather at night.

I'll start a thread about this, but I will post this question. We've had three fish die in our 14g quarantine tank in a week.
The last today, which was our blue damsel. He was swimming very well and ate about 3 hrs ago, then just found him dead.
We added a Emerald carb (I messed up on my post on page one calling him a Porcelain by mistake) three weeks ago.

The detrimental water parameters are fine.

Ammonia, nitrite are 0
Nitrate 15
PH 7.9

With years of experience behind us, I failed to understand what has happened.
The only thought is the crab killed them, even the tough damsel.

if you found the fish being eaten by the crab, or found it with a big hunk out of it, the cause could be the crab, but if it was dead laying in a corner, I would look at other reasons.

We found the first dead fish in the morning and it's stomach was chewed a bit, but the other two in the afternoon.

Cool lobster !
Please tell me about him.
I got this crab in Boca beach in FL when I was down there on Christmas vacation. One of the scuba diver was there, so he have me this crab, fish and this long leg crab too. The crab does a good job clean a lot on the sand bed. It seen that he hasn't bother any thing in the tank. He was only about 1/2" big and now his about 1" bigger. I just feed him a pieces of fish every day.

Yes everyone told me that the blue spine lobster are not reef safe, I took a chance and it's been 1 1/2 years and he hasn't bother any other fish or anything in the tank. He molt every 3 - 4 month was told that it will grow to about 12" or more, eats pieces of fish every day and walks around the tank a lot cleaning the sand bed. Never knows what is safe or not until you try it.

Wife just told me it was overnight, just forgot to tell me until that afternoon that it was in the am.
