Is this a eel, snake, or whatever and is it bad?

Don't feel embarrassed. The first time I had a shrimp molt I found the exoskeleton in my gyre. I was looking at it thinking it died and I was scared to death when the shrimp came running out from under the rocks!

I think OP fell asleep waiting for wifey to go to bed...lol...left us all hanging here while he snoozes in his recliner hahaaa
Or this isn't a saltwater creature, but some amphibious hybrid that was waiting for him to sleep so he can crawl out of the tank and attack when the time is right.

This part does look serpent like. The head and the ear on the other pic, I'd have a fish line and a lawnchair setup for predator dominance.

This thread is a sure sign that many would fail a drug test. When has an “eel” ever sat still for days? Flip the rock and bloop goes your man eating O2 eel to the surface.

I am convinced the rock has already been flipped and the embarrassment of being scared of an air bubble has driven OP into hiding.
Nothing to be embarrassed by for someone new to the hobby. There’s all kinds of crazy things in liverock.

I hope this thread keeps going until April 1st ;Hilarious

I completely agree! He should NOT be embarrassed, but ahem...being a big strong man...he probably is. ::removes tongue from cheek, sits back down::
