Is this a parasite snail

i just found this snail murdering my cleaner shrimp what is it

It's a nass. They're fine. They eat dying/dead.

A healthy cleaner would not sit there and let a snail eat it.

Isn't that just a basic Nassarius Snail, I got a bunch of them.

The snail came in some crushes coral and sand bed I took from a buddies tank. Originally I bet it was ordered online.

Not all nassarius snails are reef safe - there are hundreds of different ones - many that look alike. Most are ok but some are reported to be quite capable of even taking out fish...

I have two missing fish in the past two months.. Magenta dottyback and firefly

Well I do have an assassin one in my tank, a bit bigger than a mature margaritta snail. It ate 5 bumbleebee snails in the course of 48 hours. No they where not dead first, I watched it hunt and kill one. I can't have bumblebees anymore, but it hasn't hurt anything else.

I don't see it often maybe once a week and only at night. but if I do I will snap a pic. It has hairs on it's shell like a emerald crab has on it's legs. It looks too awesome to kill.

It was trying to I seperated them and came back ten minutes later and the snail was right back in the shrimp on its face his time and the shrimp was dead so I took it out

Or is it possible my cleaner shrimp was dying from a sting from an anemone I witnessed earlier on this evening

I have about 30 of them and there like zombies, litterally the second i toss in anytype of food they all come out from the sand and dart to wereever the food is, but yes if the cleaner shrimp was healthy, that would never happen..
