Is this ich?

You have a couple options.
1. You could just grab the gobie and hold off on grabbing all the fish unless they are showing heavy signs. They most likely have ich as well however if they are eating and behaving fine without many dots you may be alright and they may be able to fight it off. If none of the fish show signs and you want to re introduce the goby after his treatment make sure he's well fed and has little stress when transferring.
2. Take all the fish out and treat them for 2.5 months. (the safer yet extreme option).

You may prefer to try option 1 before option 2 I think most people would. However keep in mind sometimes the ich bomb DOES go off and worst case scenario happens and you might find yourself in a too late to treat situation.

Okay but i cant treat them because i have coral and invertebrates.

Yes, the fish would all need to be moved to a separate QT tank for treatment and the duration of the 76 day fallow period. The inverts and corals can remain in your reef tank, as they can't "host" ich, and without a fish host the parasite will die.

Okay thanks I might try option one because i got the goby yesterday and i am guessing he already had ich and it wasn't already in my tank because i know my clowns didnt have it.

Even if it wasn't in the tank before, it will likely be there now. The only way to guarantee the ich is gone and won't reappear after the goby is returned, or any other fish is added in the future, is to treat all fish and leave the tank fallow.

The following is a very brief description of what happened in my tank, when I was new to reefing:

When ich surfaced in my tank over a year ago, I got some "Kick-Ich" too. It killed some Blastomussa corals, but not the ich. The ich killed most of my fish, including every new fish I tried to add.

I set up a quarantine tank.

If and when you do set up a quarantine, only move the fish (but _all_ of the fish!) to the quarantine tank. All inverts and corals can stay in your display tank. Treat the fish with something that actually kills ich, and allow the ich in the display to starve to death (it can _only_ feed on fish, not inverts) over the next 76 days.

When you return your fish to the display, you'll know in your head and in your heart that they're healthy and should remain so for a very long time. (And you'll still panic - just a little - when you see a grain of sand stuck to your favorite clownfish...)

I got some kick ich because it sounds like so much work to set up a quarantine tank.

It's really much easier than it sounds. I have 3 running right now, 2 for new fish I bought and one for a sick anenome

I know it isn't hard, but its how much it is going to cost to set up one and trying to find a space to put it. Also the fish just died.

He died I think the other colwn fish were picking on him and streessig him out causeing him to get ich I didnt see it happen but it sure looked like they did. I moved the clown gobie to a different aquarium and he didnt make it, just a 25 dollar snack for my lobster.

Dying that quickly sounds more like velvet than ick. Keep a close eye on your other fish.

I mean how long does it take for a fish to start showing symptoms of ich.

If any dropped off and encysted in your tank...could be weeks. That's why the fallow period is 76 days. It sounds like it could have been velvet...in which case you will know much sooner :(

He is just siting in the corner I got him from the pet store yesterday. None of my other fish have symptoms.

How did you acclimate him? What was the salinity at the fish store and what is the salinity of your tank?
