Agreed, a week or less.
I would look into setting up a 10/20g quarantine (depending on # of fish) and dose copper. Problem is that ick is now in your DT . How many other fish do you have in there?
Thereafter, fallow period approx 70 days of no fish will get rid of ick.
In the meantime, feed heavy, make fish strong as possible.
