The spot has started getting smaller, its about half the size of yesterday. Thanks for everyone's advice. I will have completed my fallow on 5/29. Since all looks well I should be good to start moving fish back then?

All fish look great, that spot finally disappeared after 2 weeks. I still haven't treated with prazipro, finally got my copper levels down to .25. Can I treat now with the praz or should I wait until I move to the display tank? I do have corals in it, my 76 days was today but waiting until Monday to start moving 2 fish at a time.

Treat wtih prazi before they go into the display. It's just easier that way and uses less prazi - which saves you money

Is it ok to treat with prazi with the copper level .25 or do I need to get it to 0 first?

They can be combined safely. Just watch for cloudy water which means a bacterial bloom has happened. You'll want to add extra aeration if this happens and do a water change 24 hours after dosing the prazi.

Thanks, I just had a bacterial bloom in the quarantine, changed 20 gallons of water and it looks better. I have a large hob filter and a powerhead pointed to the surface. It's a 55 gallon tank

I did have cloudy water this morning, I changed out 20 gallons again and added prazipro back for the 20 gallons. I decided to use my display water since it's 78 days today. Will make 20 more gallons incase it's needed again. What causes the bacterial bloom?

It's sometimes a reaction between meds when mixed.... there are other reasons for it but no matter the cause, you simply do a water change and add O2

Thanks, the bottle says 1 treatment unless fish are symptomatic, is there a benefit to doing a second treatment if the fish aren't symptomatic?

Prazi-Pro kills adult flukes, but doesn't kill their eggs. By dosing a second time between five and seven days later, you'll kill those juvenile flukes after they hatch - and before they start laying their own eggs.

Where are the eggs? On the fish? If not why couldn't I move the fish to the display after the first treatment? I only ask because I had to change 20 more gallons this morning because of cloudy water. Likely going to need to do 20 more gallons in the morning again.

The eggs are on the fish, and the flukes can be transferred from one fish to another.

I actually don't think my fish have flukes. I freshwater dipped them with nothing but I have come this far. Thanks for everyone's advice and hopefully I will have a happy display tank thanks to everyone's guidance!

2nd dose of prazipro started yesterday, after that is complete I plan to move fish to display. I have 6 and planned 2 move 2 at a time. Will my display tank still have nitrfying bacteria or should I put a frozen shrimp in the tank to get it restarted? Maybe add a bottle of bacteria?

Your display still has bacteria, though they may be somewhat dormant. You can start them back up, if you'd like, by adding a bit of whatever you're feeding your fish to the display water. Some of it will feed the corals / inverts, the bacteria will utilize both their waste products and the remaining food.

All fish are back in the display and doing great, I eventually want to add a chocolate tang but will wait awhile before trying. Thanks for all the advice
