You got a unique one there it looks like. I can't find it either. I'm gonna guess their juveniles of some sort... following along for one of the experts! #reefsquad

Oh man that is an awesome specimen! Most all crabs like that are not reef safe

Did you get any new rock lately?
I am looking for a good rock source for these kinds of "pets"

Hi @govolsguy31 .... Been searching the net and can't really find one that matches their appearance. Could be a dinner crab hahahaha....thanks for replying.

Those are swimmer-crabs ... at the public Aquarium, they won't let crabs in that family into the touch-tank. Far too aggressive . . . Keeps the insurance adjuster awake nights.

I'm not familiar with your species, but it's related to calico crabs and blue crabs of the Middle-Atlantic states. Carnivorous. Fast. Aggressive. Cool - but I'm thinkin' decidedly cooler in your sump.

Thanks Bruce (@Maritimer ).... be better safe with them, to the sump they will go!

I agree on the swimmers, they look allot like the Blue Crabs we used to catch on the Gulf Coast. Let them grow up some and their good boiled with butter!:D Don't put your fingers by them as they get bigger, seen many a finger messed up by them.
