Is this torch bailing out? Something else?

You can sort of test to see if lower flow would help without actually relocating it, if you have a rock you can set near it to block part of the current. i.e., set the rock at 2:00 position and see if it starts extending after 24 hrs. If not, try 4:00, etc., to figure out what it likes.

Slow process but it lets you test without stressing it by moving it around.
This is a good idea, thanks! It is sort of just sitting on the sand at the moment, but maybe I will move it back to its original location and give this a shot.

My CA is currently around 412, so I think I should be good there. I also have it about 1/3 up in the tank, with an XRR15 Pro at 65% intensity. Perhaps the flow is too violent? It gets about what I would consider moderate, but I am still new, so can't be sure. Here is a video of the flow/placement in my tank.
How are all the other corals around it?

If they are all fine it's more than likely a stress issue that it had way before it started to show signs. Maybe a dip in revive could help, but it also could stress it even more. Unfortunately no quick fix just a waiting game to see if it will bounce back. Continue feeding, you could always put it down a little lower to take the stress away from the lighting, and maybe a little less flow for it to heal.

Sadly, it did not make it :(. At the time, all other corals around it were fine. I had taken it out and dipped, then placed in a lower flow area, and fed it. But I guess that's how it goes sometimes. Thanks for the response.

Sorry to hear only seen I was 6 weeks late post reply. Unfortunately it does its always a shame I lost my 24k torch and almost lost my pink tip green stem torch but that looks like it's bounced back at this stage.

The game we play so unpredictable
