no replies to emails and Facebook messages...

No tracking number or status update on my order in weeks.

I knew I should have just paid the extra $10 more and gone with a reputable company although I try to give the small businesses a shot

I guess I'll have to just do a chargeback and the vendor can eat the bank charges for it soon unless I get SOME sort of reply. Even if Apogee are being slow, give me something here for an ETA.

I bought an Apogee par meter and it said its being dropped shipped and tracking will be updated when shipped and it was estimated to be a few days on the product page. Well that was 3 weeks ago...

I sent them an email through their website on the 4th of May about a MRC reactor. Got a response on the 5th.

Have you tried to give them a call at all? --

Haven't called but it's been over a week without response to emails and a Facebook message. On a work trip so if no responses by then I'll call once and then time to get my money back and order from someone else.

Edit: emailed them on the 12th so you can see it's been a while...

I've done business with them for years with great experiences. An old fashion phone call should do the trick

What vendor is this your talking about?

These guys are great to deal with. Since Reefgeek bit the dust I always order my T5 bulbs from them. They know how to ship the bulbs so they arrive undamaged.

Once I get back in the country I'll call them up and see what's up. I guess email isn't the way they do business then...

They've been great to deal with for me as well. I know a the Apogee MQ-500 is backed up at Apogee and you basically bought your place in line if that was the model you ordered. That would answer the delay in shipping but can't answer why no response from Scott. I'd give him a call like others suggested though as he's always been responsive in the past.

Sorry but I have no idea who you are or what email address you are sending your questions to. Additionally I don't see anything on the Facebook page that would indicate someone was trying to get in touch with us. Please send your request to [email protected] URL.com.

Thank you,

Thanks for the nice comments here. Glad I'm finally seeing email notifications when I post something. Now I just need to figure out how to get a notification when someone posts in our sponsor forum. Shores805 was the 1st email I received in this entire thread and I suspect I only received a notification because I just posted in the thread prior to you, if that makes sense.

David, if you are watching please let me know how to change my notification settings.

Yeah the silent, unseen and maybe not immediately appreciated or tangible variable in such a niche community as this, from a vendor's perspective I would imagine, is that you won't hear from satisfied customers. Typically people only write reviews when they're dissatisfied. But they'll come to your defense when inaccurate or wrong information is paraded in front of the community.

On the order email it has:

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]

That is where I have emailed. Along with Facebook message. I will forward my email to other address and hopefully get a tracking # or ETA.
Maybe it needs to be updated if it's no longer a valid email.

Thanks,

I sent it again a few hours ago so not sure why unless it's going into your spam mail...

Either way order # 100037918

Spoke with Scott today -- Looks like the order just slipped through the system and is a very unusual circumstance related to Apogee. He has made everything right and can safely say all the above comments reflect the company correctly.

Will likely order from them again as I know this is not a normal situation.

Thanks,
