There's a thread here on adding herbivore fish and cook veges, add veges on hair algae. Let fish eat veges with algae.
Thanks I'll find it. A sail fin blenny was on my stocking list as well

Just an update. Still fighting, but it os starting to look like I am on the winning side. My api test kit reads ammonia nitrite and nitrates at 0. 8.2-8.4 ph I got the red sea care starter kit, and am at 400 Ca 1520 Mg and 3.5Meq/L 9.8 dKH. I lot of manual removal by giving it a haircut with scissors, plucking with a siphon hose and my thumb, and catching it in a filter sock in the sump. Have 2 blue green chromis, lawnmower blenny. About 5 blue leg hermits, 1 nerite snail, 1 nassarius, 2 other snails that were supposed to be hermits(maybe dwarf verity but are on the glass), and one emerald crab (in the display refugium). Also got a branching hammer coral, and a goniopora coral frag in there now. Started dosing red sea No3Po4X about 3ml a day and today was day 4 of that. Things are starting to look up.

I believe the battle is over. It got a lot worse before it got better. Complete infestation of GHA. Finally turned brown but would not go away. I was using NOPOX and dosing reef energy a and b. Believe my nutrients got too low because I had a huge bit of cyanobacteria in the display refugium. Well I gave the brown algae one last haircut with scissors a couple weeks back, cut out the NOPOX and reef energy, and dosed chemiclean for the cyano.... cyano and GHA free(maybe a little on the back glass) as of now. At the end is a before and after dosing chemiclean of the refugium.
