My pistol shrimp and emerald keep apart from each other. The crab lives on the artificial reef rock, and the pistol lives under a piece of dead coral from the ocean a foot away. They don't really meet much, except for when the dang snails ate all his algae and he had to go forage and started eating the shrimp's food right next to his lair. But ...the emerald could not bothered to pay attention to the snap...weird.
