Nope... I run my kessils at 50% at max intensity and 100% on blues... 4 blue plus t5s and 4 actinic. Considering swapping out 2 actinic fr coral plus... but if it ain't broke... no reason to tweak it in my opinion

Funny, I just caught up here to lighting talk. I posted on my own thread earlier this evening that my old zoa (strictly zoa, everything else looks so much better now) pics were much happier than my current & am thinking about messing with mine. I think when we move I'm going hybrid but I'm not going to play that game beforehand

I also have a t5 MH hybrid on a 40 breeder that I love...

That tank is in transition. Used to be my old nem tank. I still have my pair of clarkiis a carpet and a Borneman nem in it. Trying to decide what to do with them.

I don't get what's hybrid about that. You can put your own LED into the existing front and back banks of LEDs....

no. Those are two two bulb t5 ballasts set on a mounting frame so led fixtures like kessils, radions, hydras can be added to “supplement” the t5s

yup. No real point in it other than aesthetics. But yup. My sunpower is programmable. Different bulbs = different channels I guess

lol the hybrid fixture is less than the sunpower. I think the dimmable hybrid is about the same as my dimmable sunpower.

Oh you know what @Nate Chalk you linked the fixture to hold reef brite strips with spot light style lights.

yeah I don’t know why you need to buy that
