Black is where it's at.
What is the diameter of yours I have some spa tubing left over somewhere. Solid white somewhat flexible and you can use pvc glue and connect it directly to sched 40.

Is the inner wall of the black smooth or corrugated. I didn't want to go corrugated as I'm sure it reduces flow...

I have reinforced flex just like this and none of them are growing algae on the inside.

Id think it would need more than indirect sump light.

Mine must be a special algae.

Still in no hurry... sand is finishing up tonight. I'll add some cycled rock and some nasty rubble. Jump start a cycle... have about 75 lbs of cycled rock to add. Then it should be ready. Swimmers maybe this time next week.
