I bought a high power blue laser and go to town. Takes care of them quickly, no chemicals, and is super fun. They melt away and crackle. Plus it allows me to keep other coral in check if it starts invading territory it isn’t allowed in...
I have a spare 5 gallon tank - might setup aiptasia tank for my desk at work.I just scrape them off the glass with a razor blade and put them in a jar and watch them grow. If they are on my rock work I glue new coral over them (gives me an excuse to buy more coral).

That was a nice read. Awesome project.Here is mine in little mason jars. You can add some asterina starfish and just feed once a week or so. I am currently restarting them because the got covered in algae.![]()
