That I do, but that’s crazy carpet is on a kill streak ! You think maybe if the clowns hosted it it would be more peaceful? I’m not too sure either way it’s still worth it.
Maybe a clown harem in the future ?

One of my two carpets, have eaten All of the Things.

Bright green only ate starfish. Seafoam responsible for starfish + conch + ~5 fish so far..

It's worth it to me..

Signs of when to medicate the lta? More I know the better. Morning, hugely inflated. Lights kick on, mouth open, slowly deflating but not flat. Mid day, mouth open, expelling waste. Currently mouth open. Not deflated, no signs of waste.

I would think if it’s deflated for more than a day , yr LTA sounds exactly like what my LTA did for the first 2-3 weeks. It’s mouth was usually always open / expelling waste. But it did not deflate ever . Once I moved everything to new tank the mouth is puckered.

Unlike my bta, the lta hasn't fully deflated. It just shrinks down half the size and at night the things an inflated monster. Mouth is puckered at night. So far.

So, this guts going to be expelling a lot for awhile?

Yea ive only had the lta deflate once lol probly my fault with dosing. But in my case yes , it was expelling a lot of waste regularly for the first month , I didn’t feed it during this time

That brings me a lot of comfort. Mine looks just like that picture right now. I still love the gold hue they have. So amazing.

This morning, he was out in the same spot. Dead center of the tank.

I tried to center this hopefully he feels better. I don't like the exposed foot. Dug a hole, put lta in hole, covered the hole with a couple of rocks. Not laying on the lta's foot, more like a cave.

I got no idea what I am doing ;(

It's nice that it wants to be there, just need to get it to stick.

I'm not sure if your home during the day or not, But if you get the chance to watch them dig, It's very cool to see. It's hard to even explain the motion their body takes while digging in the foot. It's kind of a quick convulsion that you can see they are forcing themselves downward with. Watching LTA and carpet dig in is fun. If you happen to catch it, Stand back and watch for a minute.

I get to be a stay at home mom. This will be fun to watch if it happens. I guess I'll know if the lta digs, he's happy there. He could have roamed all night, but twice in the center, I will go with that queue for now.

Alright, painful update. I installed my eventually to be eel home. I found out I am allergic to birds nest coral.... Ouch. I moved the bird nest because I wanted something else on the right of the tank. Removed it from rock, placed it on a loose pebble and placed that by the pavona. Well, hand started to itch and burn.

Anyhow, someone moved the rock closer to the pavona and I am not touching that birds nest until I get some gloves. I think I learned something?
